The other book I came across at Half-Price Books the other day was “Wildeworld: The Art of John Wilde.” What luck! A beautiful book of amazing art. Wilde (pronounced ‘Will-dee’) was a Wisconsin painter who is often categorized as a surrealist, though I think “magical realist” suits him better….
